Around the time of the election last year, my website was hacked. I’m fairly certain it was a result of my postings on Twitter with regard to my feelings about the President-elect. All content was lost and I have only just now been able to restore it. It’s been a good year – and while it’s no fun being the target of nefarious forces, it has given me time to reflect on my direction as a writer.
This website and blog will contain my creative writing efforts. Some of you may be familiar with my website Aging Abundantly. It was my original blog, started over a decade ago, and it has taken on a life of its own. It is now more appropriately named the Aging Abundantly Community ~ a place for women to gather, share and support one another through the sometimes mysterious, often overwhelming years after fifty. This site will be strictly about my life as a writer and my various thoughts on a wide variety of topics.
Here I will post updates on projects, publishing endeavors and the like. As you may know, the writer’s life is often a solitary one, and while I am an introvert, it’s a joy to me to interact with other creative and interesting individuals. So please feel free to comment and share. If you are a writer, I’m always happy to talk about writing. If you are a philosopher you’ll find a home here as well. One of my favorite topics of conversation is living an authentic life, exploring the boundaries of our self-awareness and expanding consciousness and experience. If these topics are of interest to you, I hope you’ll join me in exploring them.
Thanks for stopping by today.
