ABOUT ME: I didn't start writing for public consumption until I was in my mid-fifties. The timing was right and like many at midlife, I believed it was now or never. I chose "now" and over the next year completely upended my day to day life. Now, as I enter my seventies and realize I've been writing for close to two decades, I still struggle to define myself as a writer. Issues of aging was my central focus when I began, along with caregiving as I navigated my parent's elder years. I dove into areas of personal and spiritual growth and still love the topic of transformation - to me, it's what life is all about - becoming. Still, I love to write short stories and poetry and do whenever time permits. You will find most of my blog writing on Aging Abundantly, though I long for the day when I will give up talking about issues of aging and just write here. Is it another now or never time?
